Multi-TCP

Modern manufacturing processes increasingly require synchronized activity of two or more tools within the same point. This kind of application requires the control system to handle multiple TCP structures.

Adding sensor guidance functionality to the equation adds a whole new level of complexity. While both tools need to be controlled by the sensor guiding function, the two or more points also need to remain synchronized.

ibs Automation has developed a CNC-integrated function allowing the simultaneous sensor guided control of two or more tools in the same point.

In addition to significantly reducing processing times, manufacturing processes with two or more tools in one point and high accuracy requirements can be realized.
